Wonderful
Despite being in a hectic area, Nysa hotel was providing the silence we needed at night! Breakfast was great, you don't have overwhelming options like in big hotels which I like quite a lot. The French manager was always on hand, so I hope the rest of the staff take him as an example ???? beds were amazingly comfy, the amenities in the shower were of good quality, good pressure coming out of the shower heads, fluffy pillows and towels, there is coffee machine in the room so I could always have my coffee right after waking up, and no plastic bottles (isn't this the greatest in hotel business??!!)!
Service could be a little more hospitable for a 'small' hotel like this one. E.g. on Xmas day they offered mimosa for breakfast which was great and the French manager actually made me one. But the next day I saw the mimosa stand was there again and asked if I could have one and the lady staff told me 'you can go make one yourself' ???????? problem was, I didn't know how to and some small things they could improve in terms of hospitality level. They need to look up a lot at their manager and they'll be fine and hopefully he won't have to be there all the time at one point

Nice hotel
Well appointed hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel gym was huge and well maintained. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds large and comfy.
The location is central but it’s in an area that’s not the best. A short walk to the skytrain along a busy street full of bars and restaurants but ones you would never want to attend. It didn’t put me off the hotel, but it’s certainly lovely at night.
